Faial / Pico
HORTA STORE
Horta is the heart of Faial. Elevated to city status in 1833, its marina is one of the most iconic transit points in the Atlantic, a mandatory stop for sailors and yachts from all over the world. It is a city with history, cosmopolitan, oriented towards the sea and the world. It is here, on Rua Serpa Pinto, in the center of this unique city, that our main store is located. The largest, the most complete, with the full range of products, from construction to gas, from paints to bathrooms. The Horta store is our headquarters where it all began and where you will always find the team, the products and the technical support for any project.
MADALENA STORE
Madalena is the gateway to Pico Island, a seaside village with the city of Horta in sight, separated only by the 7.5 km of the Faial Channel. For centuries it was one of the main communication axes between the two islands, and it still maintains this role as a bridge between neighboring communities. A land of vineyards, basalt, and hardworking people, Madalena has a strong and genuinely Azorean identity. It is a community that builds, renews, and takes care of its space with pride. LOS wanted to be present here because it believes that quality and good service have no borders, not even island boundaries. Our Madalena store brings everything we have to offer to Pico, with the same proximity and commitment as our home in Faial.
SANTA BÁRBARA STORE
Santa Bárbara is one of the oldest parishes on Faial Island, with roots dating back to the island's first settlement in the 15th century. With the sea always present on the horizon and fertile land as sustenance, this community has been built over generations with work, resilience, and the strong spirit that characterizes the Azorean people. Far from the hustle and bustle of the city, but never isolated, Santa Bárbara has its own rhythm – the rhythm of those who live connected to nature, traditions, and the community. The Santa Bárbara store was created to serve this part of the island with the same dedication we have in any other part of Faial. Here, anyone who needs materials for a construction project, gas, paints, or a solution for the bathroom can find everything without having to go far.
